  • Soil type: Predominantly marl with sandstone. The compacted sub-strata of eocene flysch is responsible for the formation of the characteristic soil type, locally known as “ponca”.

  • Vinification: after three – four days of cold maceration, the most ferments in 750 in Slavonian oak barrels
  • Maturation: 750-litre Slavonian oak barrels for 8-9 months
  • Maturation in bottle: about one year
  • Alcohol: 12.50% vol
  • Total acidity: 4,8 g/l
  • Bottle: 5.800, closed with Stelvin screwcap only, in order to preserve the quality, aroma and organoleptic features of the wine
