  • Soil type: Predominantly marl with lime and sandstone. The compacted sub-strata of eocene flysch is responsible for the formation of the characteristic soil type, locally known as “OPOKA”.
  • Harvest: middle of October 2016
  • Vinification: fermentation in contact with skins of berries (maceration) for 16 days in 1,000-litre concrete eggs. The fermentation is done with indigenous yeasts. Softly pressed with pneumatic pressure.
  • Maturation: 1,000-litre concrete eggs for 12 months and then half in 500-litre oak eggs and half in 500-litre (tono) barrels for 10 months
  • Maturation in bottle: about six months
  • Alcohol: 13.5%
  • Total acidity: 5.7 g/l
  • Bottle: 4.000 bottles 0,75 l,  200 bottles 1,5 l, 10 bottles 3 l
